I have been riding the Bomber TD2 bindings for the past 5 years. I always liked their sturdiness and the nearly infinite ways of adjusting the cant and lift. My only issue with them was their stiffness, especially with the step-in version. It kept me from being able to freely move my body on the board. The standard version was flexier, but the toe-bail overhung a bit and forced me to ride a steeper angle on the back foot.

Fin Doyle, the owner of Bomber Industries, updated the TD2 bindings to the TD3 model, and then after a year's worth of input and testing from racers and other advanced riders he came out with the Sidewinder model. The main feature of this binding is that the toe and heel blocks sit on elastomer pads, swiveling side to side. The lateral flex is greatly improved, and the bindings are a perfect marriage of the TD2/TD3 solid construction with the flex of the more traditional Ibex or Burton Race bindings!
